Rapper performs during all-ages show in Nanaimo

NANAIMO - Snak the Ripper performs at the Nanaimo Entertainment Centre Friday (April 29).

Snak the Ripper is bringing his grimy rap vocals to Nanaimo during a performance at the Nanaimo Entertainment Centre Friday (April 29).

The show is an all-ages event and doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Snak the Ripper got involved in drugs and alcohol at a young age. After hitting rock bottom, he realized he had to fight to save himself and turned to music to turn his life around.

After he put his mind to it he went from relative obscurity to a cult phenomenon, according to his biography.

He amassed millions of views for his YouTube videos. Snak’s latest album, Just Giver, was released in 2014.

Konfidential gained attention when he released his hit single, Get Em, which featured guest artists The Scale Breakers, Evil and Snak the Ripper.

Shortly after, he released his solo album Pressed for Time, which also featured Snak the Ripper, Moka Only and Metty.

Konfidential is the host of Konfidential’s Korner, part of the Island Rap Show on Shaw TV.
