New author Charity Gosling gives a reading from her first book for teens and adults.
Gosling’s book, The Guardian, is the first publication from Brighter Books, a new publisher in Nanaimo.
It’s a fantasy story about a young man thrust into a parallel world trying to find a cure for his ailing sister.
Gosling reads from the book Feb. 4, 6-8:30 p.m., at The Buzz Coffee House, 4515 Uplands Dr. The event is rounded out with music and prizes.
