A man with a message, Leon Rosselson performs his thought-provoking songs at St. Andrew’s United Church.
The British singer-songwriter has been writing and performing topical, provocative and satirical songs for more than 50 years.
His career began as a member of the Galliards and continued with more serious, and at times humourous, writings in the early 1960s.
Last year, he released The Last Chance: Eight Songs on Israel-Palestine, a collection that reflects on his experiences and concerns as a secular Jew faced with one of the critical issues of our times, the Israel-Palestine conflict.

The concert will also feature selections from two art projects coordinated by B.C.-based artist Elizabeth Shefrin on the Israeli-Palestinian peace, with contributions from people worldwide, and a collection of fabric self-portraits and messages created by Palestinian women and children from Bethlehem.
