The Gallery Row Art Festival took advantage of a summer’s day to showcase art and music in an outdoor setting.

The event, held Saturday afternoon in the Old City Quarter, had paintings shown and auctioned. Pieces created in the Nanaimo Art Gallery’s Art Lab were unveiled, and pieces from last year’s Art Lab were sold.

Musical entertainment was provided by Kaaji Swing and other acts.
