Applications for awards designed to assist emerging artists are now available.
The Nanaimo Arts Council’s annual achievement awards are designed to assist individuals of any age and artistic discipline further their arts education.
Last year, the arts council gave $4,000 in awards to students in visual arts, creative writing, graphic design, film, music and dance.
Application forms are available at www.nanaimoartscouncil.ca or at the gallery in Nanaimo North Town Centre. Deadline to enter is April 1.
