The Nanaimo Fiddle Society is accepting registrations for its Summer Fiddle Camp for ages eight and up.
The camp is held Aug. 2-5 at Aspengrove School in Lantzville. Workshops are offered for people at from beginner level to advanced.
Camp faculty includes Gordon Stobbe, J.J. Guy, Geoff Horrocks and Trish Horrocks.
There will be a free faculty concert and dance Aug. 4, 6:30 p.m. at Maffeo Sutton Park. On Aug 5, 6:30 p.m. is the final concert and closing celebration. The event will feature each class from the camp and the Nanaimo Fiddle Society’s folk band at Maffeo Sutton Park.
Participants that register and pay their fees before May 6 will be entered into a draw for a tuition refund.
