Love of all types will fill the halls at one Nanaimo church this weekend.
On Sunday (May 10) pianist and vocalist Leah Hokanson will be holding a Mother’s Day concert at the First Unitarian Fellowship. Hokanson will be joined by cellist Allannah Dow and vocalist Tina Jones.
“It is going to be an evening of music,” Hokanson said. “There will be some covers, some originals and some spoken word…
“The overall theme is about love in a broader sense and I think the music is really heartwarming.”
The concert takes place at 5 p.m. on Sunday (May 10). Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door.
