Dancers explore stories women tell through movement

NANAIMO - New Dance Studio presents Muse Friday (June 7) at 8 p.m. at Wellington Hall.

New Dance Studio is exploring the stories women tell and their relationships in its upcoming performance, Muse.

The event is Friday (June 7) at Wellington Hall, located at 3922 Corunna Ave.

Muse features a choreographed piece by Jennifer McLeish-Lewis, which will be performed by Holly Bright, Nicola Jackson and Genevieve Johnson.

Money raised through the event will help dancers participate in Beyond the Threshold: Seattle’s International Contemporary Dance Festival.

The festival is June 14-23 and is a 10-day event that features various artistic programs.
