Nanaimo’s David Gogo earned another award nomination for his latest album Soul Bender.
Gogo is nominated for best blues album from the Western Canadian Music Awards. Earlier this year, the album was nominated for a Juno Award.
Gogo is up against fellow nominees Brandon Isaak, Kenny “Blues Boss” Wayne, Murray Porter and Harpoonist and the Axe Murder. The awards will be given out Sept. 30 in Regina as part of the Break Out West festival.
