Nanaimo musician David Gogo and his band are ready to kick away the COVID blues.

Their show ‘kicks off’ at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 3, at the Loyal Order of Moose Lounge.

Gogo has been nominated for three Maple Blues Awards for 2022: Acoustic Act of the Year, Entertainer of the Year and Guitarist of the Year. Before heading to Toronto for the June 20 awards show, he’ll play the June 3 show at 1356 Cranberry Ave., where both Moose Lounge members and guests are welcome.

“Make sure to bring your dancing shoes,” noted the release.

Tickets are available from the venue from Wednesday to Sunday, 2 p.m. until 7 p.m., and can be ordered by calling 250-754-2853. Tickets are priced at $20 for lodge members and $25 for non-members.
