4Cats Arts Studio Nanaimo hosts summer camps

NANAIMO - Numerous summer art camps hosted by 4Cats Arts Studio Nanaimo allows children to explore creativity.

Children can explore their creativity through a variety of summer art camps hosted by 4Cats Arts Studio Nanaimo.

The studio is hosting numerous camps with diverse themes. Camps include imagination celebration, monarch princess, art-ificial intelligence, ages 3-5 camps, passion for fashion, motion and movement, heroes and villains, in Monet’s garden, lotsa layers, forest spirits camp and express yo self.

During the monarch princess camp participants will learn how to create a painting of a monarch princess, with butterflies, by using silk screen techniques, acrylics, collage, gold foil and other supplies. They will also learn how to make a polymer clay butterfly fairy.

The camps run from 1-4 p.m. and are July 25-26 for $79 and Aug. 22-24 for $125.

In the express yo self camp participants will learn street art techniques and create an acrylic painting on canvas. The camp runs Friday to Saturday (July 15-17) from 1-4 p.m. and costs $125. The other camps run on various dates. Spots are limited.
