Woodgrove Centre kicks off National Volunteer Week (April 12-18) with a volunteer fair.
Leadership Vancouver Island and Volunteer Nanaimo have organized the event, which happens April 10, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., when more than 30 local not-for-profit, volunteer-dependent organizations will showcase a wide range of interests for people to volunteer in their community.
Each organization will have information about itself, its need for volunteers and will be prepared to sign up people at the fair.
