The United Way Central and Northern Vancouver Island is recruiting volunteers to donate their time and talents to support the annual Change Starts Here fundraising campaign.
Funds from the United Way campaign support 26 local social service programs. Volunteers are joining the team now to begin planning for the annual campaign, which officially kicks off in September.
The United Way is also looking for volunteers with strong administrative skills to help regularly in the office, and teen volunteers to join the youth council that helps organize the annual Starlight Galaxy Film Festival in the fall
