The Vancouver Island Exhibition Association is looking for enthusiastic and energetic volunteers to help at the Aug. 16-18 fair at Beban Park.
Volunteers have a chance to meet new people and be part of the community spirit of Nanaimo.
They receive a free T-shirt, food voucher after four hours of volunteering, free admission to the fair the day of service and an invitation to the volunteer appreciation party.
Some are required to assist prior to and following the fair. No experience is necessary and training will be provided.
