Nash Robertson, left, Mason Strong, Natalie Luciuk, Sophie Augustine, Brooklyn Auger and Madalynn Porter were among two classes at Rock City Elementary which held a bake sale last week to raise money for some Syrian families that are new to Nanaimo.
Ms. Welsh’s Kindergarten class and Mrs. Bradley’s Grade 1 class brought treats from home and sold them to a long lineup of students at recess.
