Students with the Wellington Secondary School Band are wrapping gifts at Nanaimo North Town Centre to help raise money for music programs and travel expenses to festivals.
Students use the money to attend master classes, workshops and clinics, plus compete at events such as the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival in Idaho.
Students will be at the mall today and tomorrow (Dec. 22-23), from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Christmas Eve from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
