Students ride for free

B.C. Transit offers nearly 17,000 graduates in 20 communities across the province two days of free, unlimited travel

As a reward for making it through 13 years of schooling, B.C. Transit is offering nearly 17,000 graduates in 20 communities across the province two days of free, unlimited travel during the month of June.

GradPASS for the Class of 2013 is for students in Nanaimo, Campbell River, Victoria, Salt Spring Island, the Sunshine Coast and other communities in B.C.

Students simply scratch off their two chosen travel days and show the card to their bus driver. GradPASS is not transferable and can used only on applicable local systems.

The pass was first introduced in Vancouver in 1988 as part of the CounterAttack program.
