The Mid Island Abilities and Independent Living Society is looking for items for its fundraising garage sale Aug. 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 2126 Merideth Rd.
Large or small donations can be picked up by calling Cathy or Jeff at 250-756-9455.
The society is non-profit organization in Nanaimo that supports and encourages all people living with disabilities to overcome barriers to lead a more independent lifestyle.
