A Nanaimo recycling facility is hosting a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Vancouver Island.
Pacific Coast Waste Management is offering drop-off services for brush, wood and yard waste in exchange for a donation to the charity. The event takes place May 14, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the recycling facility on Biggs Pit Road. To get there, follow the signs from Biggs and Jingle Pot roads intersection past Brannen Lake campground to Biggs Pit Road.
