RBC offers grants for water work

Groups with projects related to watershed protection and access to safe drinking water are invited to apply for grants.

Groups with projects related to watershed protection and access to safe drinking water are invited to apply for grants of up to $500,000.

Applications are being accepted for the Royal Bank of Canada Blue Water Project Leadership Grants.

The grants, offered to eligible organizations in countries RBC is located, including Canada, the U.S., the Caribbean and Great Britain, range between $25,000 and $500,000.

The project is a 10-year, $50-million initiative.

Deadline for 2012 applications is Feb. 3.
