Fiery fundraiser

Dawne Anderson of the Nanaimo Salvation Army, receives a cheque for more than $2,200 from the proceeds of B. Gingerbread Homes from Byron Gallant and Steve Strenja of B. Gallant Homes and the Gingerbread Man. The second-annual event featured a gingerbread house building competition between business teams, a colouring contest, and hands-on gingerbread house building and decorating for families at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre prior to Christmas.
