Nanaimo and District SPCA and Island Veterinary Hospital are teaming up to help homeless animals with a pub night at the Lighthouse Bistro and Pub June 13 at 6 p.m.
The night includes a beer and burger, door prizes, raffle prizes, silent auction and more.
Tickets are $15 and available at the SPCA shelter, 2200 Labieux Rd., or Island Veterinary Hospital, 1800 Bowen Rd.
Proceeds benefit the more than 1,400 abused, neglected and abandoned animals taken in by the Nanaimo SPCA each year.
