Literacy Central Vancouver Island is providing an opportunity for immigrants to better adjust to life in Canada.
The organization received provincial funding to offer three hours a week of one-to-one English language and cultural training to allow greater participation and contribution both in the workplace and the community.
This program is offered to immigrants in Ladysmith, Lantzville, Nanoose, Ladysmith, Gabriola Island, Nanaimo and Cedar.
