Children can get the royal treatment at a princess party for charity next month.

Little Tales Princess Parties is hosting a Jolly Holiday Tea Party on July 8 in support of the Children’s Wish Foundation.

The tea, with activities, crafts and dancing, will have fairy-tale princesses attending including Cinderella and Belle, as well as Alice from Alice in Wonderland and Mary Poppins.

“Whether it’s trying out some flamingos on the green, an imaginary tea party with Ms. Poppins, creating sparkling arts and crafts with Cinderella fit for a fairy godmother, or reading some books and having snacks … with our favourite enchanted bookworm, each activity is sure to bring huge smiles, amazing photo opportunities and best of all, a new chapter in their book of memories,” notes an event press release.

The event is recommended for children ages 3-10, but any ages are welcome. A $40 ticket includes one parent and one child. Squares, cookies and juice will be served.

The event will be held twice that day at the German Cultural Centre on Caledonia Avenue, from 12:30-2 p.m. and then from 3:30-5 p.m. There are also a limited number of $60 VIP tickets available for kids to come half an hour before their event for a private tea.
