The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 256, presented a $2,000 cheque to the Nanaimo and District Hospital Foundation.
The money, raised through the annual Poppy Campaign leading up to Remembrance Day, will go toward medical equipment at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
