Poker may have reached new heights in popularity, but for Sink or Swim Scuba, it’s the depth that matters.
Sink or Swim is hosting the fifth annual Great Nanaimo Poker Dive June 5 at Neck Point park with close to 100 divers expected to compete.
The top three hands win 50 per cent, 30 per cent and 20 per cent of the jackpot respectively, and the first 60 divers to sign up for the poker dive have their name entered into a draw for a chance to win a $700 Bonica underwater video camera.
A scuba dry suit will also be raffled off with proceeds donated to the Nanaimo and District Hospital Foundation. Last year more than $1,600 was raised for the foundation. Raffle tickets are on sale until June 5.
