White Spot is hoping all hands are on deck Wednesday (Aug. 10) for its annual Pirate Pak Day event.

The fundraiser will see $2 from every Pirate Pak purchased that day going towards the Zajac Ranch for Children, a charity which allows children and young adults with life-threatening illnesses and chronic disabilities, the opportunity to enjoy the summer camp experience.

Pirate Pak Day is the one day of the year when grown-ups can order adult-size Pirate Paks.

“[It] is a big event for us, one that both our guests and staff look forward to every year,” said Warren Erhart, president of White Spot, in a press release. “Money raised on this special day helps young mateys facing difficult challenges.”

According to White Spot, over $450,000 has been raised in the past eight years, allowing more than 300 people to attend the camp.

“White Spot has become integral in our ability to enrich the lives of kids who need support,” said Mel Zajac, founder of Zajac Ranch.
