The fall/winter activity guides are available at all five recreation centres, Thrifty Foods, Quality Foods and Country Grocer locations and other community partners throughout the city. An online version of the guide is also available at www.nanaimo.ca.

New programs include Dance the Thriller, Circuit Training, and Freeride-Style Ski Club.

People can register for programs in person at recreation facilities, by phone at 250-756-5200 or online at ireg.nanaimo.ca (no 'www' necessary).

For those in need of financial assistance, the Leisure Economic Access Policy program is available.
