Park goes to the dogs for annual walk

NANAIMO – 12th annual Cavalier King Charles spaniel dog walk happens at Neck Point Park.

The 12th annual Cavalier King Charles spaniel dog walk will be held Sept. 18 at Finn Beach in Neck Point Park. Registration and social activities begin at 11:30 a.m. with a Cavalier walk through the park starting at 1 p.m.

This is a free event open to all.

After assembling and introductions at Finn Beach, all dogs participate in a walking tour of the park.

Up to 60 dogs usually participate.

Cavalier spaniels have come from as far as Oregon. All Cavalier King Charles spaniels are invited to participate as well as anyone interested in learning more about the breed.
