Organizers of the Park Avenue Community School’s 50th anniversary celebration are not leaving things to the last minute.
The event takes place Oct. 26-27, 2012 at the school, but work is in the planning stages right now.
A committee was formed to collect information and prepare a written history.
Former staff and students are invited to e-mail favourite memories to parkavereunion@live.ca and attend meetings Dec. 13 and Jan. 17 from 7-8:30 p.m. in the school library.
Park Avenue school is at 395 Eighth St.
