Members of the Central Vancouver Island Orchid Society have a busy week ahead of them.
The society is in the midst of its annual spring orchid show and plant sale Saturday and Sunday (April 16-17) at Country Club Centre. The show runs until 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Then it’s the society’s monthly meeting at noon April 23 on the second floor of the Harewood Activity Centre.
The meeting includes sales and guest speaker Chuck Taylor on growing phragmipediums.
The Harewood Activity Centre is at 195 Fourth St. in Nanaimo.
