Nanaimo society digs into family history research during pandemic

The Nanaimo Family History Society has been keeping connected during a time of quarantine.

The society’s next Zoom meeting Feb. 8 will feature Guy Prouty, personal historian, who will talk about preserving family history and making a personal story come alive.

“Looking for something to do during the COVID-19 pandemic? How about family history research?” asked a society press release.

Prouty’s talk will be free to members. Membership fee is $30 per year or $25 for seniors. For more information, e-mail info@nanaimofamilyhistory.ca.
