Nanaimo News Bulletin's Coins for Kids campaign makes a difference for charities

Community fundraising efforts add up to donations of $2,000 each to BGC and Great Nanaimo Toy Drive

The Nanaimo News Bulletin is grateful to the community as the Coins for Kids campaign is able to support local charities once again.

Thanks to donations from community members, support of corporate partners and efforts of volunteers, the newspaper was able to recently pass along $2,000 cheques to both BGC Central Vancouver Island and the Great Nanaimo Toy Drive.

To those wishing to give to Coins for Kids, donation jars can be found year-round at Quality Foods locations in Nanaimo, at John’s Bedrooms, and at the News Bulletin office.
