Instagrammers and photographers can boost their social media presence at Tourism Nanaimo's B.C. Day Instameet.
Instameet is a free event aimed at gathering instagrammers and photographers to take pictures, share photography tips and grow their followers on Instagram.
To participate, meet at the Bastion, 95 Front St., at 7 p.m. Monday (Aug. 3) to pick up Tourism Nanaimo maps to a self-guided tour highlighting ionic, unique and picturesque photo stops.
Use #ExploreBC and #ExploreNanaimo on Instagram to showcase Nanaimo on B.C. Day and Tourism Nanaimo staff will hand out #ExploreNanaimo sunglasses for B.C. Day selfies.
The event wraps at 9 p.m. with goodie bags, appetizers and prizes at the Modern Café, 221 Commercial St.
