A familiar face is at the helm of the Canadian Diabetes Association in Nanaimo.
Lee Mason, former chief executive officer of the Greater Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce and executive director of the United Way, joins the diabetes association as branch coordinator for central and north Vancouver Island.
The association’s office is at 4166 Departure Bay Rd.
