The weather and calendar might indicate summer, but the Nanaimo Lions Club is focuses on Christmas.
The service group is preparing for its annual Downtown Nanaimo Christmas Parade Nov. 26 and is seeking participants.
The parade takes place at 1 p.m., travelling down Victoria Crescent and along Commercial and Front streets.
