A summer charity drive will put the ‘ade’ in aid.
The Canadian Red Cross and London Drugs are inviting youths in B.C. to participate in Lemonade for Change.
The initiative challenges youths aged 10-18 to use their entrepreneurial spirit to re-imagine the concept of a lemonade stand and raise money for the Red Cross.
“Everyone loves the local neighbourhood lemonade stand,” said Kevin Sorby, general manager of retail operations at London Drugs, in a press release. “Lemonade for Change celebrates a youth’s decision to participate, to assist in even a small way, in helping fellow members of the community.”
Anyone who shares an image of their lemonade stand with a #LemonadeforChange hashtag will be entered to win one of nine pairs of tickets to WE Day Vancouver and other prizes.
