Volunteer leaders are needed to plan and manage the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure in Nanaimo in October.
People interested in applying should have strong organizational, communication and leadership skills. A year-round commitment is required, although peak months are between April and October. Training is provided.
Run for the Cure raises money for breast cancer research, education and awareness. Last year, the Nanaimo run raised more than $186,000.
