Carol Ward, Hospice helper, and Larry Fahlman started their day, with other volunteers Friday, setting up Celebrate a Life trees in Country Club Centre.

People can write the names of loved ones on cards and hang them on the trees in remembrance until Dec. 21. Donations to Nanaimo Community Hospice are optional and glowing angel globes are also available to decorate home Christmas trees or fireplace mantles for a small donation.

A Celebrate a Life tree is also set up at Hospice House, 1080 St. George Cr., Nanaimo.
