The Longwood Ladies Knitting Group donates $250 to Amber Adams, right, of the Nanaimo and District Hospital Foundation to help buy equipment for Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
The group meets Tuesday afternoons at Thornbridge at Longwood to have tea, share stories, knit and crochet together. Each member pays a ‘cover charge.’ To date, the group has raised $1,600 for the foundation.
