A Nanaimo grocery store is raising money to help provide meals for children in Canada.
President’s Choice Children’s Charity is committed to ensuring children and youths across Canada are well-nourished and ready to learn by providing funding to school based nutrition programs, as well as assist children who are affected by physical or developmental disabilities.
Employees at Nanaimo’s Real Canadian Superstore will commit to eat a nutritious breakfast for 30 days to take action on behalf of the one-third of elementary school kids and two-thirds of high school kids who don’t.
