Vancouver Island University is upgrading its health education equipment thanks to provincial funding.
The school receives $216,509 to renew and replace equipment, ensuring students get the hands-on experience necessary in their chosen careers.
“In order to properly educate health professionals at VIU for an increasingly technical health-care environment, we must provide them the best, most modern equipment for training,” said Parksville-Qualicum MLA Ron Cantelon.
