Golfers can drive at Beban course

Beban Park Golf Centre has gotten into the swing of things with a new driving range to compliment its pitch and putt golf course.

The range has six covered stalls and plays to a total of 320 yards. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to one hour before dusk.

With the addition of the driving range, Beban Park Golf Centre has a golf academy featuring teaching professionals Helene Delisle, Jim Young, Clive Barber and  Rob Boyle.

Delisle, a CPGA professional from Quebec, is the new director of golf for the academy which offers private, semi-private and group lessons for children and adults, beginners to pros.
