The holiday season is always a busy time, so at Give and Go, drivers can drop off their charity donations quickly – or they can stay awhile and share in the Christmas spirit.
Steve Marshall Ford is again hosting Give and Go at the dealership this Friday, Dec. 2. Donations of money, non-perishable food, and warm clothing like jackets, socks and tuques will be gratefully accepted from 5-7 p.m., in support of the Salvation Army and Loaves and Fishes Community Food Bank.
Volunteers will be on the lot to unload donations from vehicles, but those who stop by are also welcome to park, come inside and hear the Tidesmen Chorus and enjoy a hamburger by donation.
“I absolutely love how the Give and Go brought us all together to continue the legacy of taking care of our community for even just a few hours,” said Ann Marie Clark, owner of Steve Marshall Ford, in a press release. “Thank you to all that have helped, donated or volunteered. My heart feels so full.”
