Nanaimo North Town Centre’s corridors have been transformed into bookshelves for the city’s biggest book sale.
The Rotary Used Book Sale started Friday, April 1, and continues until April 10 at the shopping centre. Fiction – including classics, romance and sci-fi – can be found in hardcover, trade paperback and mass-market paperback formats in the mall’s corridors, and other vacant retail space has been filled with non-fiction and children’s books.
“Get your reading wish list ready or just explore the thousands of books available to see what catches your eye,” noted a social media post from the Rotary Club of Nanaimo.
All books are $3 each except mass-market paperbacks, which are $2.50 each, and children’s books and cookbooks, which are $3 per inch.
Proceeds from the book sale go to the Rotary Club’s charitable efforts.
