Nanaimo Unique Kids Organization hosts a family fun run to help raise money and celebrate its 10-year anniversary.
The NUKO 5km Fun Run and Family Fair takes place May 2, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Maffeo Sutton Park.
The organization, which formed in 2005, provides support services to children and youth who face unique neuro-developmental disabilities. It supports upwards of 30 families annually through multiple programs.
The five-kilometre fun run and family fair includes music, entertainment and barbecue.
Registration costs $30; $15/youth; $75/family (up to five participants); and includes certificate, refreshments and T-shirt. Participants must register by April 26.
