The business side of a sustainable community food system is front and centre as Nanaimo Foodshare Society hosts its annual general meeting Sept. 29.
The meeting takes place from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Foodshare Centre, 271 Pine St., and includes financial reports, election of a new board of directors, dinner and presentations.
