An improvement to LED technology has an annual Christmas lights festival in Ladysmith looking to upgrade.
The Ladysmith Festival of Lights has started converting tens of thousands of bulbs to the energy-saving models. Due to the cost, the upgrade will happen over a period of time.
The festival began almost 30 years ago and attracts visitors from across the Island.
