The Nanaimo Downtown Farmers’ Market is preparing to open for the season on May 6, and is looking for vendors who make, bake or grow their own goods, especially produce farmers.
“We can never have too many of these vendors, said Marg Atkinson, market president.
Artists and crafters are also welcome.
All vendors selling food products must be authorized by the Vancouver Island Health Authority and all arts and crafts must be adjudicated.
The downtown market has enjoyed 13 years at Pioneer Waterfront Plaza.
