The three finalists of the latest parks, recreation and culture activity guide image contest have been chosen.
Now it will be up to fans of the City of Nanaimo’s facebook site to select the winner.
The winning image will grace the spring/summer edition of the activity guide. The contest closes Wednesday, (Jan. 19) at noon.
“We’ve held cover image contests in the past, but this time we wanted involve our residents even more,” said Suzanne Samborski, senior manager recreation and culture. “Each finalist has provided us a different view on what the lifestyle in Nanaimo means to them. The response to the initial phase of the contest was outstanding with almost 100 images submitted.”
City of Nanaimo facebook users are invited to visit the page at www.facebook.com/cityofnanaimo, and vote by ‘liking’ their favourite cover.
